Upcoming Event & News

Emmanuel has begun a year-long
150th anniversary
celebration of its founding on November 16, 1862.
The Rev. Reuben Riley, rector of St. Mark's Church, Islip, was the founding minister and officiant at the first service on November 16, 1862. The first half acre of ground given for the erection of a church was the gift of William Nichol, a member of St. Mark's Church. Special events will be planned for the coming year up to November 2012.
